I make mostly Driving games and many different controllers are involved most of the time. I always build all three platforms from a Windows 10 machine (5.6.) and then would test them on extra iMacs and Linux machines I had around the office. Fullscreen? Not fullscreen? With dock and window Bar? So many settings now and it (for me) is leading to so many extra little problems that it is starting to be more of a pain then a simple click of a couple buttons. I have never had many problems at all in the windows builds were the game does not start or close down properly.but in Mac and Linux it seems to be littered with them. But the linux and Mac customers seem to have way more problems and I spend a lot of time working on them when I make 80% of my sales on Windows machines. I just dont get much gruff about bugs from Windows users. (ie no saving major data, no multiplayer or no crazy controller support, etc) But recently it seems to just lead to more problems (in the form of bad reviews) than it has good reviews and happy customers. For years it worked fine for simple games. In the past Unity made it pretty easy to just tick some boxes and Whammo you have a linux and mac build that would work most all of the time. I have released 3 Steam games over the past ~5 years and I have always made a Mac and Linux build to go alongside my normal Windows games. TL : DR Im wondering what percentage of players play your games? Me 80% Windows 5% Linux 5% Mac
